Frequently asked questions
About MyFastRx
What is MyFastRx?
MyFastRx is an online telehealth platform that helps eligible patients access prescription treatment through a simple online process. Patients complete a medical intake from home, which is reviewed by a licensed U.S. medical provider. If treatment is medically appropriate, a prescription may be sent to a U.S. pharmacy for fulfillment and delivery.
How does MyFastRx work?
Start by choosing your treatment and completing a short online medical intake. A licensed medical provider reviews your information and determines whether prescription treatment is appropriate. If approved, your prescription is sent to a pharmacy for processing and shipment. Some states or treatments may require additional provider follow-up, such as a video visit, phone call, or secure message.
How much does MyFastRx cost?
Pricing depends on the treatment and plan selected. MyFastRx offers transparent pricing with no hidden membership fees. For many treatments, provider review, medication, support, and shipping are included in the listed price. You will be able to review pricing before completing your order.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Prescription treatments are only available when prescribed by a licensed medical provider after medical review. Completing an online intake does not guarantee approval or a prescription.
Weight Loss Treatments
What weight loss treatments does MyFastRx offer?
MyFastRx offers access to provider-reviewed weight loss treatment options, including compounded Semaglutide and compounded Tirzepatide when medically appropriate. Treatment availability may vary by state, patient eligibility, medical history, and provider discretion.
Can I request a specific dosage?
Yes. You may request your preferred dosage during the medical intake. The final dosage and treatment decision are determined by the licensed medical provider based on your medical history, current treatment, and safety considerations. Higher dosage requests may require documentation, such as a photo of your current prescription or medication vial.
Are all doses the same price?
Yes. For MyFastRx GLP-1 weight loss plans, pricing is generally flat regardless of dose. The provider determines the appropriate dose based on your medical review.
Can I switch between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?
Yes. If you would like to switch medications, place a new order for the medication you want to start. During the intake process, let the medical provider know which medication you are currently taking, your current dosage, when you last used it, and whether you are looking to switch to a lower, similar, or higher dose. The provider will review your medical history, current treatment, dosage history, and treatment goals to determine whether switching is medically appropriate and what starting dose is safest for you.
Are compounded medications FDA-approved?
No. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. They are prepared by licensed pharmacies when prescribed by a medical provider for an individual patient. Your provider will determine whether compounded treatment is appropriate for you.
Why does my medication look different or have a red/pink color?
Medication appearance may vary depending on the pharmacy, formulation, and ingredients used. Some compounded GLP-1 medications may include B12, which can give the medication a red or pink color. If you have questions about the appearance of your medication, contact MyFastRx support before using it.
Should I refrigerate my medication when it arrives?
Yes. Once your medication arrives, place it in the refrigerator as soon as possible and store it according to the instructions included with your prescription. During shipping, temperature-sensitive medication is packaged to help remain stable in transit. After delivery, it should be refrigerated until you are ready to use it. Do not freeze the medication. If your package was delayed, damaged, warm on arrival, or you are unsure whether the medication is still usable, contact MyFastRx support before using it.
Medical Review & Safety
Who reviews my medical intake?
Your medical intake is reviewed by a licensed medical provider. Providers evaluate your health information, treatment request, and medical history to determine whether prescription treatment is appropriate.
Is it legal to prescribe medications online?
Yes. Licensed medical providers may prescribe medications online when permitted by applicable law and when they determine treatment is medically appropriate after reviewing the patient's information. Availability may vary by state and treatment type.
Why do I need to submit a photo ID and picture of myself?
Identity verification helps medical providers confirm that they are treating the correct patient. This may be required by state regulations, provider requirements, or pharmacy requirements.
What happens if I am not approved?
If a licensed provider determines that treatment is not medically appropriate, you will not receive a prescription and your order will be refunded. In some cases, the provider may request additional information before making a final decision.
If I am having an emergency, what should I do?
Call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately. MyFastRx is not for emergencies or urgent medical situations.
Pricing, Insurance & Payment
Can I use my health insurance?
No. MyFastRx does not accept insurance. We offer transparent self-pay pricing so patients can see the cost before completing their order. You may still be able to use insurance at a local pharmacy if your provider sends a prescription there, but MyFastRx cannot guarantee pharmacy pricing or insurance coverage.
When will I be charged?
You are charged when you place your order. Your medical intake is then reviewed by a licensed provider. If treatment is approved, your prescription is sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment.
Are shipping and provider review included?
Yes. All MyFastRx orders include provider review and standard shipping in the listed price. There are no hidden membership fees. Any applicable pricing details will be shown before checkout.
Are there any hidden fees or membership fees?
No. MyFastRx does not charge hidden membership fees. Pricing is shown before checkout so you know what you are paying before completing your order.
Can I use HSA or FSA?
Many HSA or FSA cards may work if they allow eligible medical purchases, but acceptance depends on your card issuer and plan rules. Please check with your HSA or FSA provider to confirm eligibility.
How do I change my credit card?
Log in to your MyFastRx account and update your payment method in the member portal. If you need help, contact support through the Contact Us page.
Pharmacy & Shipping
Which pharmacies do you work with?
MyFastRx works with licensed U.S. pharmacies. The pharmacy used for your order may depend on the treatment, location, medication availability, and provider/pharmacy requirements.
Can I use my local pharmacy?
In some cases, your provider may be able to send a prescription to your local pharmacy. However, MyFastRx cannot guarantee local pharmacy pricing, availability, or insurance coverage. For the most convenient and predictable pricing, most patients use MyFastRx's pharmacy network.
Do you ship to all 50 states?
MyFastRx serves patients in the United States, but availability may vary by state and treatment. Some treatments or states may have additional requirements, such as a video visit, phone consultation, or specific provider review process.
How long will it take to get my medication?
After you submit your medical intake, provider review is typically completed within 24 hours. If approved, your prescription is sent to the pharmacy for fulfillment and shipment. Most patients receive their medication within 5 to 7 days after completing their intake, and many orders arrive sooner. Timing may vary based on provider review, pharmacy processing, carrier schedules, weekends, holidays, weather, or if additional medical information is needed.
How is medication shipped?
Medication is shipped discreetly. Some temperature-sensitive medications may be shipped with cold packaging when required by the pharmacy. You will receive tracking information once your order ships.
Do I need to sign for my order?
Most orders do not require a signature. However, signature requirements may vary depending on the carrier, pharmacy, medication, or shipping location.
What should I do if my package is delayed or damaged?
Contact MyFastRx support as soon as possible. Include your order details, tracking information, and any photos if the package arrived damaged. Our team will review the issue and help determine the next step.
How can I change my shipping address?
Log in to your MyFastRx account to update your shipping address. Address changes apply to future shipments. If an order is already being processed or has shipped, contact support immediately, but changes may not be possible once the pharmacy or carrier has processed the shipment.
Refills, Cancellations & Refunds
How do I reorder?
Log in to your MyFastRx account and complete the refill or reorder process. A provider may need to review updated medical information before your next prescription is approved.
Are medications automatically refilled?
No. MyFastRx does not automatically ship medication without the required refill process. You will need to complete the appropriate refill intake or reorder steps before another order is processed.
How do I cancel?
Contact MyFastRx support as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Orders can generally be canceled before they are processed or shipped. Once an order has been processed by the pharmacy or shipped, cancellation may no longer be available.
Can I get a refund if my order has not shipped?
In many cases, yes. If your order has not been processed or shipped, you may be eligible for a refund. Contact support as soon as possible so the order status can be reviewed.
Can I cancel after my prescription is sent to the pharmacy?
Once a prescription has been sent to the pharmacy, the order may already be in processing and cancellation may not be available. Contact support immediately, and our team will review the order status.
Can I return my medication once I receive it?
No. Medications cannot be returned after they are dispensed or shipped. Federal and state regulations generally prohibit pharmacies from accepting returned prescription medications. If there is an issue with your order, contact MyFastRx support so the situation can be reviewed.
